    Internal Sales Representative

    JOB OUTLINE:

    • The purpose of the Internal Sales Representative - Product Support is to effectively execute their territory sales plan, championing customer success and meeting the sales target through the sales of Mantrac products and services within their assigned product portfolio and customer territory. The Internal Sales Representative will liaise with small sized prospects and customers, building and maintaining relationships via the telephone.

    MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead management. To process all leads that are assigned within 24 hours of receipt using correct outcome codes that accounts are created and all opportunities logged on Sales Force when appropriate.
    • Ensures that customer data is correctly recorded and timely updated in Salesforce.com
    • Ensures that minimum PAR (planned annual rate) standards for calls per customer and average live customer calls per day are completed; Customer calls are planned daily in batches to ensure full engagement with key decision makers.
    • Commits on future sales figures based upon sales pipeline data and adequate utilisation of Mantrac's sales methodology.

    PERSON SPECIFICATION:

    • BSc Mechanical/Electrical engineering or in an Engineering related discipline
    • 2-3 years sales experience including proactive telephone selling
    • Strong communication skills and good understanding of sales and marketing principles
    • Microsoft office proficient in Excel, Word and Power Point including use of Sales Force CRM

    Power Systems Sales Representative

    Perform effective customer coverage to sell all specified Caterpillar & Perkins Power Generation Equipment and Solar solutions and achieve the agreed sales target. To effectively manage the sales in conjunction with colleagues while reporting to the sales manager and maintaining company commercial standards and policies.

    MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • To sell power generation equipment, mainly generators, industrial and marine engines and solar systems in accordance with the company finance policy.
    • Carry out technical support such as load sizing to customer to facilitate sales.
    • Develop and manage effective pipeline of opportunities.
    • To complete calls per day on existing and for new customers as agreed through effective coverage.
    • Ensure timely receipt of payment according to contracts/agreements (prompt debt collection)
    • Keeping abreast on Competitor Products, Prices, Commercial Terms and stock levels and report on them monthly.

    PERSON SPECIFICATION:

    • Bsc. Engineering, with minimum of 1 years' relevant working experience.
    • Must have a valid driving license.
    • Basic EPG, parts and product knowledge.
    • Experience in solar systems sales and installation is an added advantage. BSc Electrical Engineering is an added advantage.

    Machine Sales Representative

    JOB OUTLINE:

    • The Machine Sales Representative is responsible for the sale of Caterpillar products and services to an assigned account list and via face-to-face meetings and ensure that coverage to customers meets Mantrac's guidelines in terms of frequency and number of calls whilst establishing strong relationships with decision makers and influencers.

    MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Actively prospect potential new customers and lead qualify them, maintaining an update accurate customer and machine population in Salesforce.com.
    • Identify key commercial opportunities through ongoing communication with customers to prioritise accounts that will deliver revenue target, build long term relationship with customers by ensuring minimum coverage is met to ensure maximisation of all revenue generating opportunities.
    • Apply Mantrac's sales methodology to progress sales opportunities through the sales funnel, update records and manage all opportunities to stage and exit criteria.
    • Produce a reliable monthly sales forecast based upon opportunity pipeline and customer's decision stage using Sales Force.

    PERSON SPECIFICATION:

    • Engineering or Business-related degree or equivalent qualification.
    • 3 years sales experience in an earthmoving equipment industry.
    • Must have a valid driving license.
    • Experience in using a CRM database.
