JOB PURPOSE

• Responsible for management MT outlets, executes strategies that drive sales target attainment & long-term beneficial relationships with customers by executing volume driven plans, sharing forecast, while closely cooperating with other departments for all-round alignment.
• The role shall among other responsibilities include; rapport building with the retail outlets, 100% product listing of none-listed and new products, price audits, orders follow through, branch meetings to align on orders, support activities to the directly allocated outlets and management of the merchandisers to ensure 100% availability and visibility in all stores.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute the Modern Trade accounts sales plan in line with business strategy.
• Execute comprehensive action plans that ensure sales targets achievement through driving listing, availability, visibility & price adherence in outlets.
• Performance management of team to ensure all are aligned to strategic direction of company.
• Manage and maintain debt collection rates at acceptable levels for key accounts.
• Merchandising Excellence
• Ensure effective shelf displays are in place. (Interruption Points - IP's) Ensure current placement of current Point of sale materials both inside and outside the outlet or as the case may be.
• MT Execution Excellence
• Negotiate for share of shelf (SOS) at the first position - Hotspots/ decision corridors.
• Ensure quality of product from content to the pack as well as team regarding personal appearance/grooming.
• Drive LAVSPOT in the region.
• Design for approval and sign off of Business Plans
• Execution of approved joint business plans with the accounts.
• Follow up on all components of the ideal business plans covering:
  • Growth Rebates
  • Data Sharing
  • Share of Shelf (SOS)
  • Swell Allowance where applicable

KEY SKILLS

• Good customer service attitude and negotiation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able and willing to travel across the designated regions.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

EXPERIENCE

• Experience in FMCG/ manufacturing industry in the same capacity.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

• Able to work within tight deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma in a Business-related field from a reputable university.
• Minimum 3years experience, 1 of which should be in a similar role preferably in FMCG sector.
• Ability to analyse sales performance metrics.

JOB PURPOSE

• The GT Team Leader is responsible for planning, overseeing, and leading the work of assigned Trade Reps to increase the retail coverage and revenues by ensuring the team delivers on retail availability of the products through retail range selling upon uplifting from the Wholesalers and distributors, respectively. They are also mandated to ensure visibility by placement of various POSMS in the trade as well as conducting regional retail activations.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3 years' experience in FMCG environment on a Supervisory role.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree/ Diploma in Business Admin or related field. Valid Driving Licence.
