Key Responsibilities

• Providing overall leadership, supervision, and coordination of nursing staff.
• Ensuring delivery of high-quality, patient-centered nursing care aligned with hospital policies and clinical standards.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to strengthen communication and care coordination. •Ensuring proper and timely nursing documentation, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Enforcing adherence to infection prevention and control (IPC) protocols.
• Participating in budgeting, procurement, and inventory management of nursing supplies and equipment. Handling patient and family concerns professionally, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Leading audits, accreditation processes, and compliance activities within the nursing department.
• Fostering staff mentorship, teamwork, and a positive work environment.
• Promoting continuous training, CME participation, and competence development for nursing staff.
• Supporting hospital leadership in policy development, strategic planning, and change management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSCN) from a recognized institution.
• Valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. 
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage teams, handle operational challenges, and drive quality improvement. 
• Advanced training in management, leadership, or quality assurance is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor effective marketing plans and campaigns to promote hospital services.
• Strengthen the hospital's brand visibility through community outreach, corporate engagements, events, and digital platforms.
• Manage the hospital's social media pages, website content, newsletters, brochures, and other communication materials. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and patient feedback assessments to inform marketing strategy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, corporates, insurance partners, clinicians, and community groups.
• Coordinate health camps, CMEs, open days, community health education activities, and other promotional events. Track, analyse and report performance of marketing activities, including referrals, leads and conversions.
• Ensure all marketing activities adhere to hospital policies, professionalism, and ethical healthcare communication standards.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations or related field.
• Previous experience in marketing (healthcare experience is an added advantage).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing, social media management and content creation.
• Ability to conduct market research and analyse marketing performance data.
• Computer literacy with good command of MS Office; knowledge of design tools is a plus.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality and ability to work under minimum supervision.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
