    Crane / WHE System Mechanic

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Crane / WHE System Mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various types of vehicles and heavy equipment, ensuring safe and effective operations. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Performing maintenance and repair on Non-Tactical Vehicles and Equipment (NTVE), Weight Handling Equipment (WHE), Material Handling Equipment (MHE), and Ordnance Handling Equipment (OHE).
    • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on cranes and other WHE or MHE assets.
    • Conducting routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
    • Maintaining logs, records, and work orders in compliance with established standards and procedures.
    • Utilizing tools, equipment, and diagnostic software to perform effective and safe repairs.
    • Complying with workplace safety regulations and ensuring equipment is maintained to operational safety standards.
    • Coordinating and communicating with supervisors, team members, and stakeholders on maintenance issues and equipment readiness.
    • Staying updated with technical manuals, bulletins, and training for the maintenance and repair of WHE, MHE, NTVE, and OHE systems.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of two (2) years journeyman-level experience in vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair, specifically for NTVE, WHE, MHE, or OHE, as applicable.
    • Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems related to heavy equipment operations and repairs.
    • Familiarity with inspection and maintenance procedures for cranes and other similar heavy equipment.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Must be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
    • Passport should be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.
    • Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for the duration of deployment.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Certifications or formal technical training in heavy equipment maintenance or weight-handling equipment systems.
    • Prior experience in an austere OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) environment with a multi-national workforce is preferred.
    • Valid country driver’s license (commercial license preferred) and passport.
    • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

    Marine Sandblaster / Painter

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel, and other finishes to equipment, buildings and other structures, using brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
    • Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces, such as bare wood or metal, for finish coats.
    • Cover surfaces with canvas drop cloth or masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting.
    • Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster; or other fillers, using caulking guns or putty knives.
    • Read work orders or receive instructions from supervisors in order to determine work requirements.
    • Remove fixtures such as frames, door knobs, lamps, and electric switch covers prior to painting.
    • Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or using water and/or abrasive blasting.
    • Smooth surfaces, using sandpaper, scrapers, brushes, steel wool, and/or sanding machines.
    • Erect scaffolding and swing gates, or set up ladders, to work above ground level.
    • Waterproof buildings, using waterproofing membranes and caulking.
    • Other duties as assigned by leadership

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Two (2) years of experience in a paint preparation, painting, sanding and scuffing or related field required. 
    • Must be in possession of a valid passport and able to travel internationally.
    • Passport should be valid for at least one (1) year at the time of hire.
    • Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Knowledge of preparation and painting of equipment, buildings and other structures, support equipment, and components, for both interior and exterior work.
    • Ability to work independently with good decision-making skills.
    • Ability to recognize occupational hazards of the painting trade and take precautionary measures as needed.
    • Additional knowledge/skills may be required by contract or assignment.
    • Previous work experience in an austere OCONUS environment with a multi-national workforce.
    • Excellent organizational, time management and customer service skills.
    • Valid country driver's license a.
    • Country visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide).

    Physical Requirements/Working Environment

    • Ability to lift/carry at least 50 lbs.
    • Place of duty and environmental conditions can be extremely austere, harsh, and work can be performed under hostile and life-threatening conditions.

    Tennis Instructor

    Job Responsibilities

    • The Tennis Instructor is responsible for providing professional tennis lessons, ensuring high-quality instruction to participants, and fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. The instructor will work closely with individuals or groups to improve their tennis skills, techniques, and overall performance. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Tennis Instruction:

    • Conducting 20 hours of tennis lessons per week for individuals and groups, catering to different skill levels and ages.
    • Teaching tennis fundamentals, techniques, strategies, and rules to participants of beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
    • Providing personalized coaching to help participants improve their tennis skills, including serving, volleying, footwork, and match strategies.
    • Organizing practice drills, matches, and conditioning exercises tailored to enhance overall game performance.

    Equipment Maintenance and Facility Setup:

    • Ensuring tennis courts, nets, and equipment are maintained in good condition and meet safety and performance standards.
    • Distributing and maintaining tennis equipment, such as racquets, balls, and practice aids, for instructional sessions.
    • Preparing lesson plans and organizing the tennis facility for lessons as needed.

    Customer Service and Engagement:

    • Interacting professionally and courteously with participants, providing feedback, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly.
    • Encouraging a friendly and inclusive atmosphere that promotes engagement and enjoyment for all participants.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Certification or documented experience as a Tennis Instructor through a recognized institution such as the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) or Professional Tennis Registry (PTR), or equivalent.
    • Proven ability to teach tennis to individuals of varying skill levels and ages, from beginners to advanced players.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with participants and promote a positive learning environment.
    • Strong organizational skills to plan and execute tennis lessons and maintain an accurate schedule for lessons and events.
    • Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance for the duration of deployment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in an austere OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) environment with a multi-national workforce.
    • Valid country driver’s license.
    • Country visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide).
    • Familiarity with Navy recreation or Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) program guidelines and operations.
    • Experience managing or organizing tennis tournaments or group activities

    Marine Laborer

    Job Responsibilities

    • Assist with daily marina operations, including the setup, cleaning, and general upkeep of docks, boats, and waterfront facilities.
    • Support the launching, docking, securing, and retrieval of boats and watercraft.
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as washing vessels, cleaning equipment, and maintaining storage areas.
    • Inspect marina equipment, life jackets, paddles, and recreational gear, reporting any damage or safety concerns.
    • Assist patrons with equipment checkout, usage instructions, and safe handling of recreational items.

    • Passport must be valid for at least one year beyond hire date.
    • Ability to meet and maintain contract medical requirements for the duration of deployment.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous experience working in an austere OCONUS environment with a multi‑national workforce.
    • Experience in boating operations, water safety, or marina facility support.
    • Strong understanding of safety procedures and basic equipment maintenance.
    • Valid driver’s license and passport.
    • Ability to obtain country‑specific visas per the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide.
