    Senior In-House Counsel

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • This individual will be reporting directly to the Managing Director. They will lead the Legal function and serve as the principal legal advisor to the organization. The role is responsible for overseeing and managing all legal affairs, ensuring regulatory compliance, mitigating legal risks, and providing strategic legal guidance to support the organization's objectives and operations.

    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide day-to-day legal advice to the organization on projects and operations, including renewable energy, public procurement, project finance, petroleum, corporate and commercial, employment, land and tenancy, environmental, civil, administrative, and carbon market matters.
    • Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on commercial agreements and project-related contracts, including power purchase, project finance, joint venture, licensing, EPC, supply, service, lease, distribution, transportation, and other commercial agreements.
    • Provide legal support across energy and infrastructure projects, including biofuels, geothermal energy, and carbon offset initiatives, ensuring regulatory and contractual compliance.
    • Support corporate governance and company secretarial matters and relevant internal functions.
    • Manage legal claims, disputes, settlements, and litigation-related matters, including the engagement and oversight of external legal counsel.
    • Maintain effective relationships with government authorities, regulators, and key industry stakeholders, providing legal and regulatory guidance on company activities.
    • Advise on and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) legal requirements, including applicable OSHA standards, policies, and procedures.
    • Monitor developments in relevant legislation and regulations, advising management and business units on their potential impact and required actions.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & CAREER EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law with strong academic performance and full qualification as a Kenyan Advocate of the High Court or equivalent qualification in a common-law jurisdiction.
    • Minimum 6 years’ post-qualification experience gained in a corporate legal environment and/or leading law firm.
    • Strong knowledge of commercial and administrative law, with practical experience advising businesses on complex legal matters.
    • Proven experience in projects, oil and gas, energy, renewable energy, or sustainable energy sectors.
    • Strong contract drafting, review, negotiation, and legal advisory skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in a second language is an added advantage.
    • Strong commercial acumen and business partnering skills, with the ability to work closely with business teams and build effective stakeholder relationships.

    ICT & Systems Manager

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • This individual will provide day-to-day ICT support and advisory services to ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of technology systems and infrastructure for the organization.

    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Accounting Officer

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • This individual will provide support to the Finance function by maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounting transactions, and ensuring adherence to company policies, statutory obligations, and financial reporting standards.

    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support accurate financial record-keeping, reporting, reconciliations, and maintenance of accounting records in compliance with organizational policies.

    • 2–3 years’ relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or audit environment.
    • Experience in accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial reporting is an added advantage.
    • Working knowledge of accounting systems, preferably SAP, and proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.

    Compliance Manager

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • This individual will support in the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the organization’s internal control, compliance, and risk management frameworks while ensuring business operations align with corporate governance standards, organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical business practices while promoting accountability, integrity, and operational excellence.

    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Professional training or certification in Compliance, Internal Audit, Risk Management, or Corporate Governance is an added advantage.
    • 5 years’ relevant experience in compliance, internal controls, risk management, or audit, preferably within a multinational or regulated environment.

    Agricultural Coordinator

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • This individual will support in the planning, coordination, and implementation of sustainable agricultural and environmental initiatives, while working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective execution, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of agricultural development programs and activities.

    Human Resource Business Partner

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • This individual will coordinate and oversee employee-related activities while ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and employment regulations. They will collaborate closely with the HR team to support the implementation, alignment, and continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.

    • Professional HR qualification from IHRM/CIPD or equivalent; an MBA in Human Resource Management is an added advantage or acceptable alternative.
    • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and its practical application, with experience supporting HR functions through organisational change.

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • Previous experience in security operations, preferably within a corporate, industrial, or multinational environment. 2-3 years working in the police service.
    • A B.Sc in criminology or a related field.
    • Sound knowledge of country-specific security operations, procedures, and risk management practices.
    • Strong skills in security planning, operational control, risk assessment, and problem-solving, with a results-oriented approach.
    • Demonstrated positive attitude, resilience, energy, and professionalism, with the ability to remain effective in high-pressure situations.
