Job Purpose:

Responsible for effective business operations by supporting and optimizing existing processes including scoping, designing, implementing new processes as per business needs. Also, support with general day-to-day requests, evaluation of current processes and coming up with solutions and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage business leaders on current processes, gaps, and anticipated changes.
• Promote stakeholders’ visibility of operational progress through dashboard creation.
• Drive interdepartmental efficiency through process mapping and identification of inefficiencies in the workflows.
• Support in re-designing the processes through coordinating of information and documentation of new processes and process flows.
• Assess and report on process cost implication to the business providing insights for process trainings and/or new process creation.
• Keep abreast of business trends in anticipation for new process creation and continuously analyze detailed datasets to prioritize and address risks/opportunities.
• Audit user access rights to various internal tools and oversee proper approvals and controls.
• Benchmark existing business processes in line with industry regulations and leverage comparative data to recommend improvements or provide insight into development of respective company policies.
• Leverage technological advancements to create various support tools in line companies needs

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

Education & Experience:

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 1 years’ experience in the business
• Experience in business process management with an emphasis on process analysis, development, improvement and/or driving change
• Sound understanding of project management
• Good understanding of the principles of Total Quality Management

Technical:

• Practical experience with dashboards
• Proficiency with SQL
• Google Sheets knowledge
• Understanding of data preparation and data acquisition
• R, Python (preferred)
• Google Data Studio and Big Query (preferred)

Non-technical:

• Highly collaborative individual
• Attention to details
• Self-starter, target oriented
• Team player and good communicator

Job purpose:

The role holder will be responsible for implementation, maintenance, and development of back-end tools and processes that are behind the company’s Data Warehouse, with a focus on data operations and processes. In addition, he/she will oversee the Data Warehouse core data’s integrity, accuracy, freshness, and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Ingestion: Design, create and deploy data ingestion pipelines to feed our Data Warehouse with raw data from various sources, with a focus on Google Sheet, using cloud-hosted data ingestion and storage tools.
• Data Transformation: Create and maintain processes to transform the raw data into clean and organized analytics data that can be used by the analysts or for operations, with tools like Data Build tool (dbt).
• Data Documentation: Provide identifiable and comprehensive data descriptions to support all consumers in answering their queries.
• Processes Orchestration: Orchestrate the data ingestion and transformation processes.
• Data Accuracy, Security and Privacy: Define metrics and measures to be taken at each step to ensure data is accurate, fits operational and analytical needs. Define data quality standards in line with formatting and or use and enforce privacy and security at each step across the organization.
• Data Warehouse Administration: Keep track of data warehouse activities including archiving, tracking data change and migration to allow speed and efficiency in accessing different data sets and in arriving at corporate decisions.
• Team Technical Support: Support the Data Analytics team on a wide range of technical matters and in alignment of business requirements with the data assets.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required:

Education And Experience

• A bachelor's degree/ Diploma in IT
• 1 years+ of Data or Analytics Engineering, preferably on cloud solutions
• Experience with Google Sheet or similar
• Understanding and experience of modern Data Warehouses technologies and best practices

Technical Skills

• Advanced SQL knowledge is a must
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets knowledge
• Intermediate proficiency with Google Cloud or Similar (Azure, AWS etc.)
• Intermediate knowledge of ETL and ELT data integration processes
