    Energy Project Engineer

    Responsibilities for the Energy Project Engineer Job

    • Promote uptake of green growth initiatives within industry and nationally
    • Coordinate various studies, resource audits and Energy Efficiency trainings
    • Ensure quality checks and controls for Energy, Water and other Resource audits service delivery, reporting and other technical issues related to firm level interventions
    • Fundraise for Resource Efficiency activities and manage linkages with key stakeholders and development partners so as to ensure sustainability
    • Liaise with relevant government, donor/lending agencies and private sector organizations to maintain interest on energy efficiency activities
    • Provide technical support to advocacy on energy issues including tariff price, reliability and power quality and making presentations to Energy Sector stakeholders
    • Liaise with the Association of Large Electricity Consumers (AOLEC) to ensure membership concerns are taken on board in their representation to key stakeholders
    • Provide guidance to direct reports, review their work plans and ensure performance of set targets
    • Prepare all necessary documentation and progress reports
    • Any other duties as may be allocated by your immediate supervisor and/ or the CEO

    Energy Project Engineer Job Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or its equivalent
    • Post graduate training in Energy Management will be an added advantage
    • At least 5 years experience in energy Management in a similar work environment
    • Experience in project management
    • Knowledgeable in energy matters e.g water energy, solar etc

    Branch Accountant

    Accountant Job Responsibilities

    • Preside over the financial record keeping of the branches and analyze all the branches’ financial data such as revenue, income, taxes, and cash position.
    • Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, cash-flow statements, and income statements for the foreign branches in line with local regulations and IFRS.
    • Prepare varied reports to managers so that they can make informed decisions.
    • Provide support at the head office in the areas of costing, factory operations and control, controls enforcement for local Kenyan branches & petty cash and Supply chain Analysis for cost optimization.
    • Produce timely and reliable branch management reports weekly, monthly and quarterly
    • Develop and control a centralised branch accounting system to ensure that accounts are effectively managed.
    • Investigate variances against budgets and provide analysis of differences.
    • Perform month end reconciliations for Accounts Payable, VAT, Fixed Assets and general ledger in the finance system.
    • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and cash flow forecasts.
    • Prepare the quarterly VAT and PAYE return and ensure that statutory returns and deductions are filed accurately and in time.
    • Assist in establishing and maintaining costing models for the branches
    • Perform daily petty cash reconciliations. Verification and validation of Cash office documents and Invoices before booking and payment regularly.
    • Monitor costs for all imported goods and regularly advise management on cost behaviours.
    • Liaise with the Head of the department to develop and implement effective costing and controls for the Factory operations.
    • Prepare various audit schedules for the branches.
    • Ensures that branch controls, operating mechanisms and internal policies are adequate, effective and comply with procedures of the parent company

    Qualifications for the Accountant Job

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Commerce/Finance
    • CPA K Holder
    • At least 4 years’ experience at a medium to large company.
    • Able to work well under own initiative
    • Have an aptitude for figures
    • Exposure to wide operations of a finance department preferably in MNCs.
    • Good organization and administrative skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail.

    Software Engineer Job Responsibilities

    • Interacting with various clients and / or stakeholders to determine their problem statement through requirements gathering, conduct analysis of the requirements and come up with requirement and system specification documents
    • Use of relevant documentation standards and tools to come up with various necessary project and system documentations prior to the software development processes that correctly document software projects
    • Analysis of various requirements, problem definitions of solutions to determine operational feasibility of solutions and advise management appropriately
    • System development; actual building of application – to use various standards of software modeling and simulation using different techniques to come up with solution models and designs that can be used as the base for the system development phase
