    Social Media Marketer

    Responsibilities for the Social Media Marketing Job

    • Manage social media marketing campaigns on a daily basis
    • Formulate a comprehensive market analysis to ascertain trends, current/future opportunities.
    • Create and execute a social media strategy based on the selected platform, competitor analysis, and target audience.
    • Design and publish daily content (original information) that connects and involves the community.
    • Increase the visibility of the company’s product through physical event planning and alternative channels.
    • Moderate usergenerated content in line with the company policies.
    • Capture and analyse metrics, insights and best practices and recommend actions.
    • Collaborate with other departments to identify top community issue, key players, and appropriate actions.
    • Protect the company reputation.

    Qualifications for the Social Media Marketing Job

    • Bachelor’s degree in Graphics Design/ Fine Arts from a recognised institution, or equivalent experience in Communications, Marketing, Business, News Media or Public Relations
    • Must be a creative mastermind (with kickass graphical design skills)
    • Eat those .ai files for breakfast, .EPS’s for lunch, and PSD’s for dinner. Proficiency with tools like Hootsuite,
    • Facebook’s Ads Manager, and the complete Adobe Creative Cloud is a huge plus.
    • Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills in English and relevant local language(s)
    • Expert understanding of the major social media channels used by SPENN (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
    • Knowledge of digital marketing, analytics and good understanding of major marketing channels
    • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking ability.
    • A team player, who can work with the Country Manager and other department chairs to formulate a cohesive strategy and implementation plan

    The ideal candidate is one who touches the lives of the unbanked and underbanked on a daily basis.
    Additional skills: Skills with the dslr (still photos & video) to create quick, unique and relevant content from the field!
