Roles for the Merchandisers Job

• Maintain and improve forward share
• Delivery of visibility, at the retail outlets, targets and goals. Sustaining the visibility
• Driving placement of POS at the outlets as per Initiative booklet objectives
• Creating and driving breakthrough Displays at the outlets as per Initiative booklet objectives
• Building superior relationships with the Market
• Making sure that the pricing are compliant to Hasabah recommended prices.
• Reporting any issues or difficulties encountered while executing your duties.
• Report on any competition activity.

Merchandisers Job Qualifications

• Ability to leverage Artistic skills to drive superior communication
• Basic level of skills in using different workshop tools
• Diploma in Sales & Marketing from a recognized institution.
• At least one year working experience.
• Hit Rate on Targets/POS utilization, Display Hit rate

Roles for the Merchandiser Team Leaders Job

• Develop route plan and ensure Merchandisers follow it as they visit the assigned stores
• Assist in negotiation of shelf space and shelf display
• In charge of POS placement in the outlets as per Initiative booklet objectives
• Ensure that each product in the store have the correct shelf label by the Merchandisers in the various outlets
• Ensure that Merchandisers arrange wobblers on the selected products
• Staying aware of how competitors are performing
• Ensure Merchandisers maintain store shelves by observing displays of company products; removing damaged or freshness-dated products; tidying store shelves; providing optimum display of products.
• Align and abide with the store’s policies when receiving, storing and shelving products
• Comply information by reporting growth, expansion, or closing of supermarkets in assigned territory.
• Completes call report by observing display and pricing of competitors’ products.
• Establish and maintain good relations with customers, shop assistant, store supervisor and store managers
• Reporting any issues or difficulties encountered while executing your duties in all the outlets

Merchandiser Team Leaders Job Qualifications

• KCSE certificate C+ and above
• College training
• Diploma in Sales & Marketing degree preferred
• Three (3) years basic selling experience preferably in FMCG, one (1) of which must have been in a supervisory position
