    Medical Claims Analyst

    Reporting to the Healthcare Administrator-Bancassurance, the role holder will be responsible for day to day engagement with medical providers to ensure quality healthcare provision to members of medical schemes as well as analysis and processing of medical bills submitted for settlement.

    Medical Claims Analyst Job Key Responsibilities

    • Vetting and analyzing medical claims as per scope of cover whilst ensuring strict adherence to set guidelines and TAT
    • Preparation of members’ reimbursement claims and payment of the credit medical providers
    • Preparation of utilization reports and other reports as required by member / client
      24 hour on-call services in management of medical scheme issues and emergency evacuations for medical scheme members country wide
    • Maintenance of the filing of the medical schemes data/ payment vouchers to ensure proper record keeping
    • Reconciliation of medical providers’ bills & accounts on an ongoing basis or on demand including visits to providers to sort out contentious bills/ issues
    • Updating staff medical reimbursements and ensuring all utilizations are captured on a timely basis
    • Professional assistance to all the staff members/dependants with chronic ailments and facilitating follow up in specialists’ clinics

    Qualifications for the Medical Claims Analyst Job

    • Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing nursing/ clinical medicine/ pharmacy and/ or in any medical related background i.e. Pharmacy, medical laboratory or clinical medicine.
    • At least 3 years’ experience in a busy health Insurance environment with Claims Vetting & Care management background.
    • Computer literate and familiar with high processing speed using standard office software applications.
    • Training in Basic and Advance Life Support will be an added advantage.

    Insurance Claims Analyst

    Reporting to the Underwriting and Claims Manager, the role holder will be responsible for the day to day management of the claims with respect to the portfolios or/and branches allocated to them and will report to the Assistant Claims Manager.

    Insurance Claims Analyst Job Key Responsibilities

    • Management of day to day Claims Operations for allocated portfolio
    • Working with Underwriters, clients, branch Insurance teams and other Third party providers to ensure strict adherence to set guidelines.
    • Ensure all claims are processed and settled within the turnaround times stipulated in the Service Level Agreement for each underwriter
    • Ensure timely submission of claim documents and other requisite documents to insurers
    • Ensuring premium is collected as per the laid down procedures on all claims being processed by Underwriters.
    • Provide technical guidance and claims management support including regular updates to Branch Insurance Teams and clients
    • Continuously offer information and recommendations to the Claims and Underwriting Manager on process flaws that need to be reviewed to improve efficiency
    • Keep management updated on relevant issues arising in claims management that could impact the business and escalate difficult claims within expected timelines.

    Qualifications for the Insurance Claims Analyst Job

    • A Business related university degree from a recognized institution
    • At least 3 years’ experience in the management of motor and non-motor claims in the insurance industry preferably within an insurance intermediary or Bancassurance
    • AIIK Diploma or ACII Professional Qualification will be an added advantage.

    Auditor - Operations

    Reporting to Audit Manager, the job holder will be required to provide independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes to add value and improve organization’s operations.

    Auditor – Operations Job Responsibilities

    • Contribute in conducting risk assessment for assigned audit assignments
    • Perform audit procedures to give assurance on effectiveness and efficiency of control environment, and compliance to KCB Group policies and Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) Prudential guidelines.
    • Documents the results of audit work in accordance with internal audit guidelines and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards.
    • Review and evaluate the system of internal controls and assess their adequacy and effectiveness and propose value adding recommendations for improvements.
    • Document findings and communications on the results of work performed, for review by the Audit manager.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications for the Auditor – Operations Job

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a Business Related field from a university recognized by Commission for University Education.
    • Must Possess CPA/ACCA, and CIA/CISA/ACIB, qualification
    • Master degree is an added advantage
    • Proficiency in the use of audit management software e.g. TeamMate
    • A minimum 6 Years’ experience covering 2 years in Internal Audit and/or 4 years in External Audit or General Banking.
    • Experience in implementing/managing a process framework and governance at enterprise level
    • Excellent Customer Service skills
    • Demonstrated leadership ability
    • Strong Business and Financial Analytical skills.
    • Superior communication and inter-personal skills, including report writing.
    • Effective planning, organizing and problem solving skills.

    Bancassurance Officer

    The role holder will be responsible for the delivery of Bancassurance business performance through effective selling, excellent customer service and execution of operational Bancassurance services to the customers under the Bancassurance profile at the assigned Branch.

    Bancassurance Officer Job Responsibilities

    • Drive sustainable growth of the assigned portfolio in order to achieve the set business target.
    • Effectively create new client relationships and partnerships whilst ensuring retention of existing business relationships through high standards of customer service.
    • Execution of day to day Insurance operations at Branch level which entails cross-selling of insurance products, posting of risk details, claims administration and documentation as well as follow up on renewals.
    • Maintain accurate records and reports on insurance transactions.
    • Champion the delivery of consistent, seamless and trusted customer service to ensure customer retention and loyalty.
    • Ensure customer enquiries are resolved promptly as per laid down policies and procedures.
    • Collection of premium on all insurance business transacted at the assigned Branch as per laid down procedures.
    • Champion Insurance products training at the Branch by working closely with Branch management to sensitize customers on insurance products.
    • Participate in Insurance Sales activation programs organized by branch management in conjunction with the Bancassurance Sales Manager
    • Ensure compliance to the Bank’s policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

    Qualifications for the Bancassurance Officer Job

    • University degree from an institution recognized by Commission for Higher Education
    • AIIK Diploma / CII Diploma or any insurance related qualification is an added advantage.
    • Minimum Overall Grade of C+ in KCSE, Mathematics and English
    • At least 3 years’ experience in the Sales of motor & non-motor insurance products preferably within an
    • Insurance intermediary or Insurance Company.
    • Experience in Bancassurance will be an added advantage.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to network and generate new business
    • Excellent Sales and Client relationship skills.
    • Demonstrate sound knowledge of Bank products and an understanding of banking business and operations.
    • Have high integrity levels; maintains utmost confidentiality of information in their possession.
    • Have great attention to detail
