    HORECA Areas Sales Manager

    Responsibilities for the Areas Sales Manager Job

    • Managing dispatch schedules
    • Creating sales demands and follow up to ensure that the same is delivered

    Accountant

    Responsibilities for the Accountant Job

    • Timely and accurate filing of the company’s statutory obligations i.e. PAYE, NSSF, NHIF, NITA & HELB and other payroll deductions on a monthly basis.
    • Effecting monthly payroll journals (JVs) in the ERP
    • Creation of new stock items in the ERP
    • Ensure Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) on staff loans is accurately computed and timely remitted to tax authority.
    • Carry out bank reconciliations on weekly and monthly basis.
    • Ensure accurate and timely filing of monthly VAT returns to tax authority.
    • Ensure timely completion of the VAT Audit and filing of any VAT Claims.
    • Establish and maintain the Fixed Assets Register of the Company.
    • Facilitating both internal and external audits by ensuring all the requisite schedules are timely provided
    • Functional assistant to the Finance Manager.
    • Posting Journal entries to the Accounting System upon approval by the Finance Manager.
    • Assist with monthly stock takes
    • Approving Stock Issuance Notes once keyed into the system by Store clerk
    • Ensure all Control Accounts are duly reconciled on a monthly basis.

    Qualifications for the Accountant Job

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business related course or CPA Graduate
    • At least three (3) years’ experience in accounting.
    • Computer literate in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks or any enterprises resources management system

    Head of Security

    Job Purpose

    Reporting to Managing Director, Head of Security will be responsible for ensuring maximum security in the organization.

    Responsibilities for Head of Security Job 

    • Carry out physical checks and inspection of the entire organization to ensure maximum security.
    • Carry out conclusive investigations on incidents and accidents in order to create a safe environment and prevent recurrence.
    • Ensure effective gathering, analysis and dissemination of security related intelligence to safeguard against lapses in security
    • Conduct proactive investigations of security irregularities and suspected criminal activities and provide reports for decision making
    • Act as a link between the organization and the police in security matters.
    • Prepare and monitor section’s budget and forwards it to the Managing Director for approval.
    • Prepares weekly reports on the general security status of the organization to keep management updated on security issues.
    • Supervises the Security officers and the contracted security guards for efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Plan for and ensure consistent maintenance of all security equipment such as vehicle surveillance system, clocking in machine so that they are in good serviceable condition.
    • Review and update security policies and procedures and ensure full implementation
    • Institute security internal controls to prevent occurrence and recurrence of security threats
    • Constitute a disaster management team and offer leadership and training to the team
    • Any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

    Qualifications for the Head of Security Job 

    • Bachelors degree in Criminology / Security related field in a position of inspector
    • Masters degree will be an added advantage
    • 8 years’ experience (3 in police force) 5 years in a similar position
    • Capable of accurately making critically important decisions with little information and time.
    • High-level analytic and computer skills; must be able to navigate menus and perform logic-based searches of data rapidly and effectively.
    • Multitasking skills, including the ability to answer multiple phone lines, prioritize alarms, and efficiently dispatch contracted security officers while receiving visitors, issuing/altering/deactivating ID badges, responding to emails, and monitoring CCTV equipment.
    • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time (the entire work day) without becoming distracted or complacent.

    Busines Development Executive

    Responsibilities for the Business Development Jobs

    • Identify, Recruit, Develop, Manage new and existing Channel Partners (distributors) to ensure revenue and market share growth
    • Develop aggressive sales strategies for Channel Partners to achieve overall sales targets and objectives
      Direct Sales: Identify and qualify sales prospects (Multinational/Pan African/regional/bulk/key accounts as direct sales)

    Qualifications for the Business Development Jobs

    • Business development management positions require a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of sales or marketing experience.
