    Production Officer

     

    Key Tasks for the Production Officer Job

    • Compositing – Overseeing Wanda composting and their products.
    • Product Development – Ensuring all the production activities are done as per the procedure.
    • Procurement Management – Work with procurement to ensure a suitable supplier list for raw materials
    • People Management – Allocating and managing staff resources in co-ordination with the HR department.
    • Research & Development – collecting and analyzing data and recommend where necessary.
    • Field Trials – carry out trials on Wanda by products.
    • Quality Assurance – Making sure compositing processes meet the set standard.
    • Health and Safety – Oversee and enforce all healthy and safe practices as per company policy.
    • Periodic monitoring and evaluation.

    Key Performance Measures

    • Revenues generation
    • New products lines.
    • Company processes and systems.
    • Customer satisfaction

    Production Officer Job Requirements

    • Diploma in General Agriculture or Biology/ Biological Science.
    • 3 – 6 years in field of Fermentation of compost.
    • Experience in working on SAP is desirable.

    Personal skills and attributes required

    • Proven leadership record with strong communication skills
    • Analytical and systematic approach to development of production processes and own employees
    • Able to efficiently and effectively handle shifting and multiple priorities.
    • Should have sturdy problem-solving skills.

    Animal Health Assistant

     

    Key Tasks for the Animal Health Assistant Job

    • Carrying out simple treatment and vaccination of animals.
    • Periodic training/awareness sessions to farmers on the products knowledge and usage.
    • Participating in sample collection and dispatch.
    • Reporting : Weekly /monthly reports regarding as per management request

    Key Performance Measures

    • Monthly sales targets
    • Customer engagement
    • Teamwork (peer to peer assessment)

    Animal Health Assistant Job Requirements

    • Certificate or Diploma in animal health or Range Management from a recognized institution and with AHITI.
    • At least two years working experience in provision of on farm extension service, farmers training, animal
    • production and vaccination etc. will be a definite advantage.
    • Be registered by the Kenya Veterinary Board
    • Have been retained all the CPD points (14 Points per year)
    • Have a certificate in computer applications.

    Technical Sales Agronomist

     

    Tasks for the Technical Sales Agronomist Job

    • Strategy formulation – participate in annual planning and quarterly review of strategy
    • Recruitment of contractors – interviewing, selection, on-boarding and exit of the team in line with company policies and procedures.
    • Daily operations management – Set work schedule and ensure they are followed including on ground support where necessary as per agreed strategy.
    • Reporting – Daily reports to immediate supervisor including three days of monthly status workshop at the head office.
    • Training – periodic training of contractors with the focus on agronomy and sales skills.
    • Customer complaint management – on ground support for customer complaint about product use and efficacy.
    • Relationship Management & company representation – maintain stakeholder relationship within respective territory.

    Technical Sales Agronomist Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience
    • Must have dealt with agrochemicals and fertilizer sales in farms.
    • Previous experience in a supervisory capacity
    • SAP experience preferred Willing to travel widely throughout Kenya

    Veterinary

     

    Key Tasks for the Veterinary Job

    • Stock Management – oversee animal vaccines & drugs stock level maintenance, storage and dispatch as per the company policy.
    • Recruitment of Animal Health Technicians – interviewing, selection, on-boarding and exit of the team in line with company policies and procedures.
    • Training – periodic training of Animal Health Technicians with the focus on Veterinary and sales skills.
    • Daily operations management – Set work schedule and ensure they are followed including on ground support where necessary as per agreed strategy.
    • Treatment – prescribing the appropriate treatment of the animal. Consultancy – Rendering of technical services to clients of veterinary services
    • Reporting – Daily reports to immediate supervisor.

    Veterinary Job Requirements 

    • A Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM) Degree from a university recognized in Kenya.
    • Diploma in Animal Health and Production or Range Management
    • At least 3 – 6 years working experience in provision of on farm extension service, farmers training, animal production and vaccination
    • Be registered by the Kenya Veterinary Board
    • Have been retained all the CPD points (20 Points each year)
