    Business Administration Associate

    In addition be part of making important decisions on the firm’s operations, the person will also be responsible for implementing the strategic vision of the business. He or she will report to the Head of Private Equity – Cytonn Investments.

    Business Administration Associate Job Responsibilities

    • Developing and implementing strategic and operations plans including: market entry, marketing as well as expansion plans
    • Building and maintaining an effective management and operations team
    • Determine direction of the firm by working with the upper management to create and implement the vision of the firm
    • Product development
    • Responsible for setting and modeling the company’s culture and values
    • Review and direct how the different departments collaborate to achieve company goals
    • Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions to drive up profitability and client retention
    • Resolve any conflicts and differences to ensure company’s continued growth
    • Keep updated on the latest trends in the serviced offices industry
    • Act as the liaison between Cytonn Business Center and Cytonn Investments
    • Ensure consistent quality service delivery to our clients
    • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

    Requirements for the Business Administration Associate Job

    • At least 4-5 years experience in business management, associate level position, ideally in the private sector
    • Bachelor’s degree with an Upper Second Class Honours
    • Professional qualifications will be an added advantage

    Independent Software Associate

    With the realization that many great developers are not able to join Cytonn on a full time basis, this opportunity is flexible and enables one to work from anywhere. It is also open to students who want to gain industry experience while still in school. Once accepted into the program, developers will be given access to a special website on which Cytonn engineers will be posting code challenges or projects that associates will be able to bid for.

    Independent Software Associate Job Responsibilities

    • Analyze business problems and develop algorithms
    • Build clean and well tested software adhering to Cytonn technologies standards
    • Package and deliver code for review by Cytonn engineers
    • Research on specific requirements and develop solutions for Cytonn
    • Provide documentation for any code developed for Cytonn

    Requirements for the Independent Software Associate Job

    • Thorough knowledge of at least one web programming language preferably PHP with Laravel Framework
    • Thorough knowledge of JavaScript, knowledge of a JavaScript framework is an added advantage
    • Github portfolio with at least 3 projects or open source packages in PHP or JavaScript

    Project Management Intern

    Project Management Internships Responsibilities

    • Assist in preparation of cash flow projections and financial models for upcoming real estate projects
    • Preparation of overall project schedule & review contractors’ and consultants’ schedules to align them with the master schedule
    • Study project designs & documents to identify areas of value engineering and provide alternative proposals for consideration
    • Assist the Project Management team in coordination of the various consultancy interphases to ensure smooth delivery of project designs
    • Assist in preparation of procurement schedules, complete with specifications and recommended suppliers
    • Identify & document project risks and suggest mitigating measures to eliminate them
    • Assist in conducting real estate market research, to provide senior management with current information regarding construction trends, procurement strategies, site works and other information that may be required

    Requirements for the Project Management Internships

    • An undergraduate with a minimum qualification of a B+(plus) in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE)
