    Bartender

    Duties for the Bartender Job

    • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
    • Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
    • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
    • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
    • Plan and present bar menu
    • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

    Sous Chef

    Duties for the Sous Chef Job

    • Leads kitchen team in chef’s absence
    • Provides guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including, but not limited, to line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating
    • Oversees and organizes kitchen stock and ingredients
    • Ensures a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance
    • Keeps cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours

    Restaurant Chef de Partie

    Duties for the Chef de Partie Job

    • To ensure that all stocks are kept under optimum conditions
    • To ensure that all misen place is always fresh and prepared on time
    • To ensure that all dishes are being prepared to the correct recipe and the correct quantity
    • To ensure that all dishes reach the passe correctly garnished, the correct portion and size and presented on the correct serving dish in the prescribed manner
    • To ensure that your section is being kept clean and tidy at all times
    • To ensure that your junior chefs and trainees receive the right training and optimum guidance
    • To ensure that any anticipated shortages are communicated promptly to the sous chef or the head chef

    Duties for the Commis Chef Job

    Restaurant Supervisor

    Duties for the Restaurant Supervisor Job

    • Supervising the floor during meal periods to ensure that all standards and steps of service are met through all guests interactions.
    • Ensuring that checklists, requisitions and proper opening and closing functions are being completed each shift.
    • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to the staff.
    • Observe performance and encourage improvement where necessary.
