    Hospitality Sales & Marketing Manager

    Our client, provides International, Regional and Local travel services is seeking to recruit a Sales and Marketing Manager.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Responsible for activities regarding sales, marketing, customer acquisition and relationship management.
    • In charge of all administrative duties and customer care within allocated area.
    • Proven ability to achieve set sales target as per company expectations.
    • Should create and support client retention strategies for both new and existing customers.
    • Ability to conduct marketing surveys and audits.
    • Analyze competitor activities within the assigned territory and coming up with relevant prepositions to ensure continuous customer satisfaction, loyalty and also maintain company’s brand positioning within the territory.
    • Solicit qualified referrals from existing clients.
    • Ability to carry out analysis of potential markets to develop prospects for new business.
    • Ability to prepare outgoing marketing proposals and tender documents.

    Requirements

    • Degree in International Business, Business Management, Bachelor in Commerce or related courses.
    • 5 years’ experience in a busy environment performing sales and marketing roles.

    Business Development Manager

    Building market position by identifying, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business deals.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
    • Research and build relationships with new clients.
    • Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.
    • Plan approaches and pitches.
    • Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
    • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
    • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
    • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
    • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners’ needs and goals.
    • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
    • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
    • Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
    • Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system.
    • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.
    • Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.

    Job Qualifications

    • Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Selling to Customer Needs, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Meeting Sales Goals, time management and organization, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Extensive knowledge of MS office.
    • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, supply chain, business administration, ICT or equivalent professional qualification.
    • 2-5 years of sales, business development or marketing experience.

    Tour Consultant

    Our client, provides International, Regional and Local travel services is seeking to recruit a Tour Consultant.

    Responsibilities

    • Ability to handle effectively all aspects of Tour Operations such as itinerary planning, reservations, tour quotations and customer service.
    • Must possess knowledge of different inbound and outbound designations.
    • Should have thorough knowledge of the East African Tourism Product, designation of International itineraries and costing.
    • Should have the ability to design flexible tour packages, excursions, safaris and other related services in regards to tours, to meet the needs of different clients.
    • Should manage customer inquiries and aim to exceed their expectations.
    • Responsible for evaluating and recommending tours and travel costing that is competitive.
    • Should be able to prepare proposals and make client presentations.
    • Can explore and identify new business opportunities in a competitive and rapidly changing industry.
    • Should ensure all client quotations are followed up for sale conversion.
    • Can conduct research and constantly source interesting product packages to meet consumer demands.
    • Should be able to write, translate itineraries and brief clients before a trip to ensure smooth travel for the clients.
    • Ability to liaise with hotels and airlines for group bookings.
    • Ability to liaise with tour operators / partners in other destinations.
    • Can work on rooming lists and other final details.

    Job Requirements

    • 5 years experience in a busy Tours and Travel agency environment.
    • Tourism Management degree / Tours and Travel degree / Diploma in Tours / Business Studies or related degree.
