    Caretaker

    The job holder is responsible for ensuring effective management of the Authority’s Movable and immovable assets.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervision of house occupancy/exiting and giving reports on the same
    • Maintenance of tenants’ records and ensure quarterly updating
    • Follow up on ownership documents.
    • Ensure payment of utility bills
    • Ensure regular inspections of the estates/property and quarterly reports on the same
    • Ensure the properties of the Authority are maintained to the required standard; renovations and repairs are carried out as and when required.
    • Effectively manage costing for renovations and maintenance works.
    • Management of outsourced services
    • Prepare and submit requests for renovations/ repairs and Prepare Bills of Quantity and supporting documents and for approval.
    •  Ensure relevant records, equipment inventory/ register and service schedules are kept up to date at all times.

    Requirements

    • Degree in a related field and least 1 year’s work experience / OR/ Diploma in any Technical Engineering field and at least 3 years’ work experience
    • Certificate of Registration with the relevant Professional Body.

    Transport Logistics

    The effective management and efficient usage of the Authority motor vehicles and personnel

    Responsibilities

    • Participate in Policy development/ review.
    • Raising Orders and PRs in the system, attaching supporting approval documents and making follow-up to completion
    • Procurement of motor vehicles.
    • Receive and distribute motor vehicles and updating asset master data in SAP
    • Ensuring annual licensing of commercial vehicles.
    • Supervising fuelling of motor vehicles, motor cycles and transiting on fleet management system.
    • Valuation of motor vehicles.
    • Disposal of motor vehicles/cycles; recommend boarding of obsolete Assets (Motor vehicles and motor cycles.)
    • Monitor Contract status through monthly reports.
    • Examine/Vet hand over – take over forms.
    • Confirmation of payment for services rendered.
    • Transport facilitation using the deployed systems ( SAP/Online Taxi)

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics Management or equivalent field
    • Must have served as an Officer or its equivalent grade for at least one (1) year.
    • Professional registration with Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Kenya or any recognized professional body will be an added advantage

    Or

    • At least O’ level qualification
    • Must have served as an Officer or its former equivalent grade for at least two (2) years or Support staff with relevant logistics experience for at least six (6) years.
    • Professional registration with Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Kenya or any recognized professional body will be an added advantage.

    Or

    • At least O’ level qualification
    • Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics Management or equivalent subject.
    • Must have served as an Officer or its former equivalent grade in a logistics function for at least two (2) years or Support staff for at least six (6) years.

    • To view the details of the position, click on the Job posting at the top of the page to display the details of the position.
    • To apply for the position, highlight the job, then click “Apply” button.
    • Follow the instructions to complete and submit your application.
