    Sales Executive Assistant

    Details:

    This is a mid-senior executive role that focuses on generation of sales in Nairobi County. A three month training program will be offered to the executive.

    Job Description

    Sales generation

    • Personally contact and secure new business accounts/customers in allocated area zones. Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
    • Promote/sell/secure new business from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach
    • Customer visits and sales pitch presentation to prospective customers
    • Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for prospective customers
    • Plans and organizes personal sales weekly and monthly plans in order to achieve assigned target
    • Monitoring and Evaluation
    • Submit daily, weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
    • Maintain a log of all sales activity results into the CRM system.
    • Preparing weekly customer service report on a weekly, monthly basis in partnership with field operations manager.
    • Conducting bi-weekly service review meetings with client on service delivery.
    • 10. Establish effective and harmonious relationship with clients, be the first contact point for client issues.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma degree required.
    • 1 -2 years experience in B2B sales is an added advantage.
    • Ability to use Excel efficiently.
    • Positive attitude and ability to effectively communicate.
    • Experience in cleaning and garbage collection industries are an added advantage.

    Payment Package

    Payment is a basic salary and commissions, transport allowance and airtime to be provided.

    Reports To: Operations Manager

    Overall Responsibility:

    The position will be responsible for ensuring that waste carried by company trucks is disposed according to regulatory guidelines, traceability is maintained and Ensure that prior to delivery, loading and unloading of vehicle trucks agree with the loading manifest taking into account the most cost effective route.

    Key Tasks

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • On- time pickup and delivery of garbage
    • Ensure that the loading and off – loading is efficiently carried out as per NEMA compliance.
    • Ensure that truck compliance for hygiene and safety of the lorry.
    • Communicate any out of ordinary occurrences immediately to the operations manager to facilitate redress.
    • Ensure that loading is carried out in a manner that, with reasonable driving, shall not lead to any waste spillages as per training.
    • Ensure that security measures designed by the company have been carried out.
    • Safeguard Security and access to sensitive areas especially the company trucks by unauthorized personnel
    • Take charge of Loading & Off loading Operations of waste materials, ensuring that traceability is safeguarded and that all safety and quality precautions are taken.
    • Take charge of security of the company vehicles during transport
    • Ensure that proper truck itineraries and reports are kept to ensure that safety, timely delivery and accountability is maintained during the trip
    • Ensure truck compliance rules are followed as per city council and NEMA regulations.
    • Ensure proper control and management of truck records
    • Ensure that the delivery notes submitted on timely basis
    • Ensure that the vehicle servicing records are checked on regular basis
    • Fill worksheets, vouchers and receipts and ensure they are submitted to operations manager and NEMA as agreed.
    • Ensure that trucks are protected from breakdown or any other occurrences that would render them unsafe to transport waste.
    • Ensure that all traffic rules are observed, and that accidents and incidents are virtually nonexistent when driving to and from the client sites
    • On arrival at site level, confirm that proper truck compliance assessments are carried out before loading of waste.
    • Any other duties as maybe assigned from time to time.
    • Academic Qualifications
    • Certificate of good conduct
    • Valid driving license.
    • Be a form four graduate.

    Experience Required

    A minimum of 5 years driving experience. Experiences driving an FH 215/FRR required. Similar trucks size acceptable.

    Behavioral Competencies Level

    • Skill driving
    • First Aid
    • Basic Health and safety
    • Demonstration of a thorough knowledge of Nairobi (road network) and its environs.
    • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of traffic rules.
    • Good communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
    • Neat and presentable.
