    Finance Distributioon Lead

    To provide business partnering support to the warehouse and distribution (W&D) and supply chain indirect (SCI) terms, ensure timely close of month reports and reporting as well as provide insightful analysis performance and KPIs.

    Job Summary

    Warehousing & Distribution/ Supply Chain Indirects Business partnering

    • Analyse and understand monthly W& D and SCI spend
    • Provide timely reporting and analysis of monthly results to W&D and SCI teams
    • Monitor KPIs and highlight areas of concern or cost reduction opportunities (VIPs)

    Monthly Results

    • Support the W&D and SCI teams with their monthly accrual process through analysis of OTM tool and continually identifying opportunities to improve accuracy in the transport management tool.
    • Ensure accurate and complete capture of monthly W& D/ SCI costs
    • Sign off on balance sheets reconciliations completed by CG monthly and ensure balance sheet control for W&D and SCI spend accounts.

    Forecasting

    • Continuous improvement on forecasting for transport and warehousing via support to ensure that W&D SC teams have good forecast process in place
    • Maintain monthly SCI forecasting process and improve forecast accuracy
    • Maintain SAP quarterly operating planning process within SAP for W&D and SCI.

    Cost Saving

    • Support W&D teams in identifying cost saving initiatives such as lane efficiency analysis
    • Review annual spend and identify opportunities for improvement
    • Provide detail financial calculations for actuals and forecasts of W&D savings projects
    • Finance lead for distribution cost saving projects
    • Liaise with local teams to ensure that savings projects are on track per project management schedule.

    Key Requirements

    • Bachelors of Commerce or business-related degree
    • Must be a CPA(K)/ ACCA holder
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Strong team commitment and result driven orientation
    • 2-3yrs experience in Finance (Costing experience preferred)

    Finished Goods Import/Export Operations Manager

    Main Job Purpose

    The Finished Goods Import/Export Operations Manager has overall responsibility for managing supply planning andInbound Logistics, Supply Management, 3PL management and Clearance for all Finished Goods imported/exportedfrom/to outside East Africa. The role is responsible for ensuring delivery of high CCFOT at optimal costs for importedFG’s. The main objective of the job is to ensure availability of finished goods to deliver the desired service level. BalancingCCFOT with optimizing Working Capital is one of the key challenges.

    Job Summary

    • Ensure a smooth operation in the primary distribution process (Distribution Requirements Planning) to deliver high levels ofCustomer Service towards Distributors East Africa
    • Manage the relationship with Unilever, 3P Suppliers, 3PLs, Distributors (Unilever owned or 3rd Party Managed) to ensure acollaborative atmosphere required to drive improvement processes related to service levels, cost efficiencies and loss reduction
    • Deliver transparency of the overall Supply situation and highlight any Supply Risks to support the Business Planning process
    • Develop and manage contingency plans relating to 3PL services and site products
    • Manage all clearing agents and clearing processes
    • Manage all government relations regarding the site operations in the country of operations.
    • Ensure effective running of Procure to pay cycle.
    • Ensure Distribution Requirement planning for FG and manage the day to day operation for planning and ordering Finished Goods atSUs outside the MCO boundaries
    • Drive the use of systems as prescribed by Unilever AAC and support the Regional Category Demand and Supply ReconciliationProcess (RCDSR) by providing 24 months rolling forecast to the SUs
    • Ensure ICSA, ICQA and SLAs are in place with Unilever SU’s
    • Liaise with Supply Management to ensure contracts with 3P Manufacturers are in place and manage quarterly Transfer Priceprocess
    • Support the S&OP process by driving a structured Demand and Supply Reconciliation Process
    • Responsible for optimizing overall stock holding by using the AAC stock model
    • Lead the Local innovations process for Finished Goods imported from outside the MCO
    • Manage Working capital targets of the MCO
    • Drive Business Waste improvements in the area of Slow Moving and Obsolete Finished Goods. Timely reporting of any write off risksdue to expiry
    • Ensure appropriate stock provisions are made in books for slobs. Ensure timely initiation of disposals to minimize losses

    Key Requirements

    • University Degree, Supply chain (APICS) qualification is an added advantage
    • At least 4 years’ experience in FMCG Supply Chain operations (Planning, Imports, Exports Customer Service, Logistics)
    • Experience on SAP ERP, APO
    • Experience in managing 3PLs
