    Trainer

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Our client’s Training company is looking for a certified and experienced in-house trainer who will be responsible for design, delivery and continuous improvement of training programs; conduct needs assessment, execute training, promoting company products, efficiency and improving the skills of all personnel.

    The ideal candidate should be a great communicator with the ability to effectively describe complicated ideas to different audiences. You must be highly organized, proficient in time management, and possess excellent public speaking skills.

    Responsibilities

    •  Collaborate with management to identify company training needs and identify performance gaps and implementing training best practices to ensure alignment with company needs.
    • Schedule appropriate training sessions.
    • Oversee and direct seminars, workshops, individual training sessions, and lectures.
    • Plan and implement an effective training curriculum.
    • Supervise training budgets.
    • Prepare hard copy training materials such as module summaries, videos, and presentations.
    • Train and guide new employees.
    • Develop monitoring systems to ensure that all employees are performing job responsibilities according to training.
    • Administer training for designated customer groups with the ability to deliver, project and motivate trainees through effective training methodologies both in group and individual
    • Evaluate success of training implementation by assessing achievement of learning objectives and transfer of knowledge to continuously improve training solutions and identify future learning needs;
    • Utilize a variety of techniques, concepts and development and delivery of training programs and strategies;
    • Manage the learning experience consistent with company philosophy and company-wide strategy;

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in any business related field.
    • Certificate of Training of Trainers course will be an added advantage.
    • Impressive communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • A minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in a training position.
    • Solid knowledge of the latest corporate training techniques.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
    • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs

    Radiologist

    Position Summary:

    A private Hospital based in Nairobi is looking to fill in the position of a Radiologist.

    The purpose of the radiology department is to provide effective and reliable radiological services of the highest quality whilst ensuring best possible outcomes for patients and enhanced continuity of care

    Customer needs:

    • Timely and accurate Radiology reports
    • Patient care before during and after radiological procedures
    • Proper preparation before radiological procedures
    • Safe environment of care and interventions
    • Friendly staff and efficient and effective processes

    Main Purpose of this job:

    • To exercise administrative and clinical oversight of the radiology department
    • To provide radiological services to radiology department as part of a multidisciplinary care process leading to desired patient care outcomes, service standards, and best practice standards.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.

    • Coordinating and integrating both clinical and administrative aspects of the radiology department.
    • To ensure radiologists and referring clinician’s satisfaction in relation to clinical services offered in the radiology department and identify new services as deemed appropriate.
    • Continuously reviewing and evaluating the professional performance of all individuals with clinical privileges.
    • Oversee the credentialing and privileging process of physicians including practice monitoring and evaluation.
    • Develop departmental policy and procedures, prepare proposals, quarterly reviews, management briefings, annual budget proposals, equipment and personnel request.
    • To have regular communication with other Heads of Department to provide a cohesive approach to clinical service delivery.
    • Participating in the recruitment process to ensure the hiring and retention of the highest quality radiology staff and participation in employee/labor relations matters as appropriate.
    • To ensure that Radiation Protection Responsibilities are conducted as described in the local radiation protection rules and regulations.
    • To maintain satisfaction and safe performance of all diagnostic imaging equipment.
    • To ensure that quality assurance is regularly performed in all clinical areas and documented for audit purposes.
    • To ensure that clinical audits are carried out as appropriate.
    • To comply with legislative and hospital policies and procedures, ensuring patient safety.
    • To ensure the Data Protection is applied to all patient data & that patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.

    STAFF QUALIFICATION AND COMPETENCIES

    Education and professional training

    • Bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery recognized by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board
    • Master’s Degree in Radiology recognized by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board
    •  Fresh Graduates are also encouraged to apply. 

    Licensure

    • Current practice license issued by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board           

    Certification

    Current certificate in pediatric immediate life support (PILS) training

    COMPETENCIES

    Ability to effectively take history and obtain relevant patient information

    Ability to carry out radiological procedures
