CARE USA is currently providing technical and functional assistance to support the implementation of PeopleSoft in CARE Canada and its country offices worldwide. In July 2019, CARE Canada HQ in Ottawa and CARE Kenya will go live in PeopleSoft. A team of trainers are deployed in Ottawa and Nairobi to conduct training sessions prior to going live. A follow up team will be deployed around mid-August 2019 to provide additional support and and conduct period closing activities.
During the first week of training, it became clear that CARE Kenya needs more support on the ground from the time the implementation team leaves the country office in Mid-July until the arrival of the follow-up team in mid-August 2019.
The primary role of this position is to serve as liaison between CARE USA and CARE Kenya and ensure the country office is using the system until the follow up team arrives. A good knowledge of Scala -- the financial system used by CARE Kenya -- and PeopleSoft is crucial to help the country office understand the changes and transition smoothly to the new system.

Some examples of these fees are placement fees or immigration processing fees. CARE does not use recruiting or placement agencies that charge candidates an up-front fee of any kind. Occasionally, CARE does employ recruiting or placement agencies to help us identify candidates for specific employment within CARE. If you’re contacted by a legitimate recruiting or placement agency, there should be no charge to you. If you suspect that you have been a victim of fraud from someone purporting to be CARE, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org .
