    Supply Imports Planner

    To manage seamlessly all white oils, LPG and specialities imports into Mombasa and ensure supply products to customers (internal and external) in a timely and most economical basis.

    Principal Accountabilities:

    • Ensure timely berthing of vessels delivering product for Kenya/Uganda/OTS
    • Co-ordinate import finance planning with treasury team
    • Manage demurrage exposure by working closely with key stakeholders such as Surveyors, Marine Technical Advisor, KPC, KRA and KPA
    • Ensure timely payment to Suppliers, Surveyors and shipping agents
    • Ensure timely customs compliance for all our imports
    • Ensure import vessel compliance with Vivo Energy Safety Standards and co-ordinate port clearance.
    • Monitor and review all performing vessels as per charter party. Recommend black listing of vessels not meeting requirements
    • Co-ordinate vessel delivery with all concerned parties by issuing discharge instructions as required.
    • Ensure timely receipt of product purchases from third parties and follow up for final debit or credit notes
    • Assist in delivery trading and transshipment cargoes.
    • Monitor performance of independent surveyors and prepare quarterly report

    Job Knowledge, Skills & Experiences:

    • University degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
    • One to two years working experience in the same field
    • Proficiency in MS Excel.
    • Strong analytical skills
    • High integrity and strong character
    • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.

    Projects Engineer-Convenience Retail

    JOB PURPOSE
    • Implementation of CR (Convenience Retail) Capex projects at the various retails sites as per plan.
    • Management of Retail CR Capex activities to ensure an efficient & effective CR offering at the identified retail sites.
    • Contractor management that achieves agreed contract KPIs and delivers on the desired customer satisfaction results.
    • Ensure contractor compliance to Vivo Energy HSSE and Quality standards.
    • Ensure compliance with Vivo Energy, Statutory and other relevant industrial requirements

    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Manage Growth and Maintenance Capex projects for CR sites, including optimized KDRs.
    • Manage Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) and Permit to Work requirements during CR projects.
    • Contractor management for delivery of agreed KPIs through monthly performance reviews and periodic contractor performance audits, in line with contract management procedures.
    • Procurement of equipment, materials and services in liaison with the procurement department and especially through provision of scope, standards and negotiations.
    • Develop and maintain a strong HSSE culture within Contractors and compliance to Company HSSE standards.
    • Support the development of Capex plans, including scoping and scheduling of the projects.
    • Work closely with the other Engineers and the business to enhance liaison and teamwork to deliver desired project delivery levels.
    • Management of contractors and 3rd party stakeholders to deliver planned performance safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standard

    Requirements

    • University degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, from a recognized public university (Min. second Upper) with 2 years working experience in Engineering in oil industry.
    • Strong team member with good interpersonal skills, personal initiative and drive.
    • Knowledge level in HSSE.
    • High flexibility and ability to deliver to deadlines.

    Assistant Retail Maintenance Engineer

    JOB PURPOSE
    • Assist in the management of Retail Network Equipment and Site maintenance activities (including minor Maintenance Capex activities e.g. Equipment replacements and minor site upgrades) to ensure an efficient & effective maintenance service, safely and within budget.
    • Contractor management to achieve agreed contract KPIs
    • Ensure Compliance to Company HSSE standards in Retail maintenance activities.
    • Ensure Compliance to statutory requirements in equipment and facilities maintenance.

    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Support management of Equipment and Assets Maintenance contracts and deliver performance safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards, with minimum interruptions to station operations.
    • Process work order and purchase requisitions in SAP, follow up maintenance works execution to completion, including timely invoicing and closure.
    • Support procurement of maintenance services in liaison with the procurement department and especially through provision of scope, standards and negotiations.
    • Support contractor management for delivery of agreed KPIs through weekly tracking and monthly performance reviews and periodic contractor performance audits, in line with contract management procedures.
    • Ensure timely compliance to statutory equipment inspections and validation regulations.
    • Develop and maintain a strong HSSE culture within Contractors and compliance to Company HSSE standards.
    • Support the development of annual maintenance budget and plans, including scoping and scheduling of Opex projects.
    • Provide support to execution of Growth and Maintenance Capex projects as and when required.
    • Work closely with the Customer Service Centre and Territory Managers to enhance liaison and teamwork to deliver desired maintenance levels and equipment availability.

    Requirements

    • University degree in Engineering, from a recognized public university (Min. second class Upper div) with working experience in engineering in Oil or Construction industry.
