    Human Resource Manager

    Human Resource Manager Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • To take part in the design and implementation of the organization’s policies and strategies.
    • To identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resource functions and ensures company policies, procedures, and reports are in compliance.
    • Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
    • Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
    • Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Company goals.
    • Coordinates Management training , terminations, promotions, performance review, safety etc
    • Facilitate Business Continuity, succession planning /strategies e.g. seminars and new implementations that ensure the company’s survival.
    • Develop and maintain effective internal & external communication methods
    • Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within organization
    • To conduct Training Needs Assessment and facilitate training programs to equip the workforce with required skills to ensure business continuity and growth
    • Act as a link between top management and the workforce and represent the organization in personnel – related matters and industrial relations
    • Payroll processing
    • Administer reward & Compensation, benefit and disciplinary mechanisms

    Qualifications for the Human Resource Manager Job

    • Degree in Human Resource Management or in Business Administration
    • Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management and a member of IHRM-K
    • Over 5 years progressive experience as a Human Resource officer
    • One must have worked in a manufacturing company
    • Mature and reliable with good leadership and communication skills
    • Should proficiently possess technical skills, soft skills, hard skills, interpersonal and management skills
