General Coordinator at Médecins du Monde

As general coordinator, you report directly to the desk officer in charge of East Africa based at the HQ in Paris. You will be responsible for overseeing all MdM’s activities in Kenya and Somalia.

More precisly, you :

• Manage the coordination team and ensure the quality of the working conditions of the entire mission
• Are responsible for the overall project cycle management; in accordance with MdM tools
• Are in charge of overall management of support department, supervising compliance of finance, human resources and logistic procedures to MdM rules and regulations
• Are responsible for the security / safety of the team and the property of MdM
• Are responsible for raising funds and for donors compliance in the field
• Carry out advocacy and negotiations with the national authorities and other key stakeholders
• Are responsible for communication with the head office of MDM and for the quality of reports
