Duties and responsibilities:

• Planning and implementing nursing care interventions based on patients’/clients’ health needs.
• Providing appropriate health care service to include ANC, immunization, delivery and referring patients.
• Evaluating healthcare outcomes on patients and clients
• Preparing individualized clients reports and discharge plan for patients.
• Planning, implementing interventions and preparing periodic reports, maintaining records on patients/clients
• Conducting assessment of school health needs
• Ensuring a tidy and safe work environment
• Conducting home visit
• Follow up of discharged patients for continuity of care

Basic qualifications:

• Be a Kenyan citizen
• Candidate must have a certificate of Kenya Enrolled Nurse/Community health Nurse from a recognized institution.
• Enrolment certificate issued by the Nursing council of Kenya
• Valid Practicing license from Nursing Council of Kenya
• Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution Must have good inter-personal and communication skills.
• Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
• Must have good inter-personal and communication skills.
• Must satisfy the requirement of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya 2010.
