A visible role where you will mainly handle all bond related issues, intervene when necessary and ensure the lowest possible bond exposure at all times

In return, you will gain valuable experience in long-term strategy planning and execution, negotiation, and play a pivotal role in setting the future direction of Damco EAF.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure proper reporting of service delivery performance for the bond team
• Point out any foreseeable challenges in bond related that might need additional attention
• Ensure that all bond is being cancelled within set time frame
• Ensure overall delivery of results for bond operations and provide all relevant reports
• Ensure internal SOPs are set and maintained – as well as ensuring 100% compliance of the SOPs by the team.
• Work proactively against limiting the financial exposure in the daily operations namely penalties and fines from KRA.
• Reinforce APM group culture, values and reputation and ensure compliance with company policies.

Who we are looking for

• Experience in Logistics sector
• Thorough knowledge about rules and regulations regarding bond related issues in Kenya
• Ability to delegate work efficiently
• Good relationship with KRA officers
• Communications skills
