Database Developer Job Key Responsibilities

• Design stable, reliable and effective databases
• Participate in Data Migration strategy and implementation.
• Modify databases according to requests and perform tests
• Solve database usage issues and malfunctions
• Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices
• Provide data management support to users
• Ensure all database programs meet client and performance requirements
• Research and suggest new database products, services and protocols

Qualifications for the Database Developer Job

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant field;
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience required as a Database developer large scale data migration using either an Industry ETL tool or advanced SQL;

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Working in a busy environment
• Working with a CMS project
• Experience in building, managing, propagating database changes, optimizing and performance tuning of database processes;
• Working experience of Java, .NET framework, PHP and Java Script will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Mobile application development i.e. android and IOS will be an added advantage
