Responsibilities for the Chinese Cook Job

• Prepares and cook individual Chinese and other Oriental dishes and foods.
• Plans menus.
• Ensures quality of food and determine size of food proportions.
• Ensures that all food is creatively and attractively presented at all times.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Inspects kitchens and food service areas.
• Orders supplies and equipment.
• Maintains inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Organizes and manage buffets and banquets.
• Manages kitchen operations
• Additional duties and responsibilities related to the job may be assigned as required.

Chinese Cook Job Requirements

• Relevant diploma from any Culinary School
• Able to supervise and direct work flow for kitchen staff.
• Undergone basic food preparation and hygiene.
• One (1) years’ experience in Chinese food production.
• Ability to communicate in English.
