Responsibilities for the Digital Financial Services Manager Job

• Business development through proposal writing and client interaction and relationship building
• Recruitment of training participants, translation of material and delivery of courses in French
• Contribute towards the planning and implementation or technical assistance assignments within the company focusing on both Francophone and Anglophone Africa
• Deliver training courses as well as assist in curriculum development and knowledge dissemination within Réseau Helix
• Manage and carry out quality control of training courses delivered, research papers prepared, curriculum developed and technical assistance provided for Réseau Helix
• Participate in staff development, feedback sessions and knowledge sharing with team members
• Author/Co-author of thematic publications capturing innovative ideas/new trends, future of the sector as well as actively engaging in marketing activities of Réseau Helix within MicroSave

Location: The role holder will be based in Nairobi, Kenya with an intention of eventually shifting into West Africa. The role involves local and international travel on assignment.

Qualifications for the Digital Financial Services Manager Job

• This position requires a strategic thinker with project management experience, strong oral and written communication and presentation skills and excellent organizational abilities.
• Ability to lead assignments and teams and work with minimal supervision
• A strong field orientation and proven inter personal skills
• Leadership skills, decision-making skills, problem-solving skills, and people-management skills
• Excellent spoken and written English and French with the ability to translate Fluently between the two in all mediums.
• Master’s level degree Banking/Business/Economics/Sociology or related field
