Responsibilities for the Dispatch Supervisor Job

• Responsible for the direction and supervision of the entire dispatch operation
• Supervises the activities of the entire dispatch team
• Oversees the work of dispatchers and ensures compliance with company policies, practices, and procedures.
• Assign routes to drivers and keep track to ensure goods are delivered safely
• Coordinate drivers, loaders and ensure same day delivery services
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish tasks.
• Performs a variety of other assigned tasks.

Requirements for the Dispatch Supervisor Job

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Transport Management / Purchase or any other related qualification
• 3-5 years’ experience in a busy working environment as a dispatch supervisor
• A good team player with excellent communication skills
• Mature, responsible and well organized
