Duties and Responsibilities:

i. Prepare statutory and management reports including final accounts; ensure compliance with treasury regulations and procedures;
ii. Prepare and maintain general ledger and subsidiary ledgers;
iii. prepare bank reconciliation statements, process payments and keep accurate debtors and creditors accounts;
iv. Initiate budget proposals and financial plans and prepare budget control reports;
v. Ensure audit schedules are provided to the auditors;
vi. Prepare timely and accurate reports;

Qualifications, Competencies and Experience required for appointment to this position:

i. Bachelors degree in Commerce or related discipline from a recognised institution;
ii. Six (6) years of experience in a key role in Finance and Accounts section for a medium-Sized Organization;
iii. CPA III or ACCA III qualification;
iv. Member of relevant professional body in good standing
v. Computer applications skills;
vi. Demonstrated competence as reflected in work performance;
vii. Demonstrated honesty, confidentiality and integrity;
viii. Good interpersonal and communication skills;
