    Senior Project Manager, Operations Support

    Project Manager NGO Job Responsibilities

    • Redesign and manage PATH’s Policy Portal including rethinking the architecture, optimizing its organization and accessibility.
    • Influence and aquire buy-in from stakeholders at all levels of the organization, in consultation with the Compliance Committee and its Chair.
    • Liaise with programs, across operations departments, and across geographies.
    • In collaboration with key stakeholders, develop new processes and decision frameworks.
    • Share information with and propose changes to stakeholders, including Project Lifecycle team for inclusion in that work.
    • Bring both geographically dispersed and functionally different teams together in managing process and coordination of PATH’s new field presence decision process which determines whether PATH should develop a presence in a new country.
    • Support other projects or initiatives under the auspices of the Operations Division.

    Experience for the Project Manager NGO Job

    • Proven track record of engaging and managing internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
    • Demonstrated success working effectively and respectfully across cultures and seeking solutions that support inclusion.
    • Ability to solve immediate, complex problems that impact a variety of stakeholders with an eye to developing tools/systems/frameworks to address recurring scenarios.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Track record of adapting to changing priorities, and demonstrated ability to efficiently track and maintain progress toward varied and sometimes competing team objectives/deadlines.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, active listening, and developing thoughtful and well-planned communications.
    • Proven ability to successfully manage projects that involve and impact teams across an organization.
    • Proven ability to collaborate closely with team members and external stakeholders to accomplish goals.
    • Demonstrated proficiency at managing own time and competing work priorities while producing consistently accurate work product.
    • Deep familiarity with and exposure to a wide cross-section of PATH teams and programs desired.
    • Proficiency with basic database management and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
    • A minimum of two years’ experience in the development sector in a project management role.
    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area, plus five years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Proficiency in French a plus.
    • Experience working and living in at least one African or Asian country a plus.
    • Must have legal authorization to work in Kenya.
