Kenyatta University, is a multi-campus public university in Kenya. As of October 2014, it was one of twenty three public universities in the country
QUALIFICATIONS:
i. PhD. Degree or successfully defended Ph.D Thesis in Chinese Language and Culture or Ph.D. or successfully defended Ph.D. Thesis in Linguistics from a recognized University.
ii. Masters Degree in Chinese Language and Culture from a recognized University.
iii. At least three (3) years’ experience of teaching Chinese language to non-native speakers in a recognized institution.
For teaching positions above Tutorial Fellow, employment will be on permanent and pensionable terms.
Tutorial Fellows are employed on one (1) year renewable contract, to the maximum of three (3) years.

Copies of certificates and testimonials should also be enclosed giving the names and addresses of three (3) referees who are conversant with the applicant’s competence in area of specialization.
