JOB GROUP ‘K’
This will be the entry and training grade for Food technologist cadre. An officer at this level will be deployed at Agriculture Training Centre or any agro-processing plant in the County.
Duties and responsibilities will involve training and advising farmers on matters related to Agribusiness, planning and management of agroprocessing related demonstrations in the County, Management of Agroprocessing plants at Agriculture Training Centre and any other location in the County. The Officer will be the head of an Agroprocessing unit in the County.
b. Requirement for appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a bachelors of science [BSc.] degree in food science and technology or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
