    Senior Program Officer

    Level: KWT 5

    The Officers will be reporting to Assistant Director Business Development

    Programme Officer Job Responsibilities

    • Assist in developing concept papers for resource mobilization from international funding mechanisms (global, bi-lateral or multi-lateral);
    • Preparing and reviewing quarterly reports on implemented business concepts.
    • Assist in preparing work plans, project proposals and sub-agreements;
    • Implementing the framework for Payment for Environmental Services (PES) including carbon, water and biodiversity among others;
    • Assist in the project implementation procedures and policies;
    • Participate in reviewing activities for compliance with Agency’s policies and procedures.

    Qualifications for the Programme Officer Job

    • A Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields:-Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Business Management, Community Development, Project management, Natural Resources Management or any other related field(A Master’s degree in these fields will be added advantage);
    • Have four years (4) of relevant work experience;
    • Have relevant computer applications skills;
    • Demonstrate communication and leadership skills;
    • Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity.

    The shortlisted candidates will be required to present original copies of recent clearance certificates from Kenya Revenue Authority, Credit Reference Bureau, Higher Education Loans Board, Ethics & Anti-corruption Commission and Directorate of Criminal Investigation. Do not attach any copies.
