The Youth Enterprise Development Fund is a state corporation with the overall mandate of economic empowerment of the Kenyan Youth. The Fund now seeks invites applications from dynamic, innovative and experienced individuals to fill the fill the following vacant positions:

The Director, Business Development will be responsible to the CEO for providing strategic leadership and direction in the implementation of the Business Development Function. An officer at this level will be responsible for coordination and management of all activities in the Department.

Business Development Director Job Specifications

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

• Served in a relevant field in the Private or Public Sector for a cumulative period of six (6) years, three (3) of which must have been in a senior Management position;
• Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines:- Business Administration/Management, Finance,
• Commerce or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Post Graduate qualifications in a Business related field from a recognized institution;
• A qualification in Strategic Leadership Course will be an added advantage;
• Membership to a relevant professional body;
• Met the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution;
• Computer proficiency;
  Demonstrated managerial and administrative capability plus professional competence in work performance and results; and
• Exhibited a thorough understanding of national goals, policies, objectives and ability to relate them to Business Development’s function.
