Electrical Technician at Kenya Tea Development Agency (MS) Ltd

Reporting to the Installations & Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for installation of new/modified electrical systems for use in the workshop’s fabrication and installation works.

Electrical Technician Job Responsibilities

• Installing electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting solutions by applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
• Deploying electrical solutions by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
• Preparing product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulatory laws.
• Keeping equipment operational by following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures.
• Fitting equipment and machinery electrical systems.
• Installing of electrical component in conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
• Carrying out tests to ascertain proper running of machines and equipment.
• Measuring performance of electrical systems.
• Report writing and documentation
• Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications for the Electrical Technician Job

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Five (5) Years of experience.
• Ability to understand and document workflows and business processes.
• Ability to identify solutions that effectively address business and control needs.
• Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate audit results to functional heads and other stakeholders.
