With the support of the managing partners who are based in South Africa you will be responsible for heading up the East Africa region and work alongside the project finance and growth equity transaction team. 

Key experience:

• Around 10 years of experience in an investment role 
• Must possess a clear understanding of the East African renewable energy market and regulatory environment 
• Ability to demonstrate their deal origination capacity
• Strong networks within the East Africa region are essential 

Key Responsibilities:

• Origination of fund fit deals
• Financial evaluations and transaction quality control 
• Represent the firm in the East Africa region on boards of portfolio companies 
• Negotiation, execution, post investment portfolio monitoring and exit
