    Application Support

    As an Application Support in our Operations team you will be challenged with the role of providing technical support/help desk regarding a spectrum of software used within a specific business sector/unit.

    Reporting Relationship

    • The Application Support reports to the Manager – IT Service Operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Duties depend on the complexity of its information systems, but standard responsibilities include:
    • On-board new users i.e. of an application to ensure a smooth onboarding process. Both internal and external users.
    • Application Support & Service Management
    • Defining and driving the application support and service management.
    • Investigation into complex application and/or interface issues
    • Understanding the problem and identifying/recommending the appropriate action to resolve within the service level agreement (SLA).
    • Co-ordination with both internal and external teams to understand the cause and help resolve the issue.
    • Participation in Post Incident Reviews (PIR) and Major Problem Reviews (MPR)
    • Work alongside our world class solution developer team to build & maintain business units’ backend

    Position Requirement

    • B Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering Physics or similar degree.
    • Successful candidates will possess a proven track record in business systems support/IT customer service.
    • Previous experience in technical support / problem solving
    • Experience of working within SLAs
    • Strong work ethic
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Creative and analytical approach to problem solving
    • Ability to prioritize work
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Delivery focused
    • Proactive approach to work
