    Senior Human Capital Management Officers

    Vacancy Number:   V/No.9/2018       

     Responsibilities

    • Interpret, implement and apply HR policies, standards, and procedures on human capital management matters;
    • Participate in development and review of Human Capital Management Manuals and Guidelines;
    • Participate in the preparation of the Human Capital Management budget and work plans.
    • Conduct exits interviews for staff leaving the Commission;
    •  Train and sensitize staff on scheme of service and benefits to facilitate empowerment of staff;
    • Advice staff on all aspects of the Human Capital function which include recruitment and performance management;
    • Process injury claims as reported and forward them to service providers for timely payment;
    • Forward documentation to service providers on group life claims to ensure payments are made in a timely manner;
    • Conduct end year evaluations and carryout Mid- year review to maintain HR set guidelines on performance schemes;
    • Prepare and update Complement surplus and deficit with a view of deployment of staff to address imbalance;
    • Prepare Revised Personal Emolument Budget;
    • Prepares and disburses salaries for payment by the Accounts function;
    • Makes the recoveries of overpayments, imprest, filling of Tax Returns and salary stoppages;
    • Ensure implementation of HR decisions on Promotion, Confirmation of appointment are acted upon;
    • Ensure NHIF Returns are filled on monthly basis and
    • Conduct HR Audits to ensure compliance.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in any Social Science field, Business Administration and/ or Human Resource from a recognized institution;
    • Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management;
    • Member of a Professional Body;
    • Computer Literacy;
    • Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya;
    • Six (6) years of service of experience three(3) of which should be in a similar or a comparable position from a reputable organization;
