Reporting to the Director Lands

Duties and responsibilities

• Preparing physical plans.
• Preparing part development plans.
• Constructing cadastral sheet.
• Preparing prints and surveys.
• Updating drawing records.
• Providing safe custody of drawing records and equipment.
• Maintain and retrieve documents for easy access and reference
• Assist various user departments on preparation and compilation of necessary drawings as and when required.
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Director Lands

Requirements for Appointment

• Be a Kenyan citizen.
• A Diploma in Cartography or Architectural drawing and draughtsman ship from a recognized Institution
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative and innovative
• Proficiency in CAD OR related software.
• Satisfy the requirement of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010;

ALL candidates MUST meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity and will be required to produce clearance/compliance certificates from the following agencies:

• Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
• Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
• Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
• Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
• Directorate of Criminal Investigation (Good Conduct).
