Senior Industrial Training Levy Inspector (Grade 10) HRA/DFLA/01/2018– 1 Posts

Reporting to Manager Levy Administration, the job holder will be responsible for:    

• Sensitizing and training employers;
• Collecting of levy;
• Advising on Industrial Training Levy Status of employers;
• Inspecting Industrial Training Levy records;
• Advice on reimbursement and recovery of penalties;
• Coaching and mentoring Industrial Training Levy staff ;
• Liaising with Finance department to ensure posting of levy payment;
• Attend court /alternative dispute resolution mechanisms when necessary.

The successful candidate must:

• Be a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social/Pure Sciences;
• Have Diploma in Law, Industrial Relations, Labour Management or any other related field;
• Be a registered member of a recognized professional body;
• Have at least five (5) years’ experience in Levy administration;
• Have attended a management course of not less than 4 weeks from a recognized institution;
• Have an understanding of development and presentation of levy administration activities.
• Have proficiency in computer application;
• Have a good understanding of the dynamics of Industrial Training;
