    Marketing Lead

    Job description

    About the role

    Paygo Energy is looking for an individual to join their team to help develop and roll-out their current system to different distributors and consumers spread across different geographies. Part of the role will entail developing marketing material for the different pilots, mapping and adaptation of workflows for service design, the introduction of marketing campaigns and customer communication. The focus is on all seven P’s of marketing of product/service systems; Product, Place, Price, People, Physical Evidence, Promotion and Process. The Marketing Lead would report directly to the Head of Marketing.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Marketing production - ensuring different customer segments have the right communications; develop marketing content, intervention campaigns to influence retention, payment behavior, volume consumed or amount of sales made
    • Customer, agent and market research - developing and conducting research (qualitative & quantitative) on both customers, agents and market working with the platform to ensure a well adapted platform, and the right triggers for growth
    • Growth hacking: finding & developing market-validated triggers for PayGo to grow to 10,000 customers, and retain them.
    • Project management - ensuring the end-user, retailer and gas marketer propositions and interventions are launched and adapted by partners and staff
    • Lean testing marketing propositions - working with current staff and pilot staff to develop and test services, propositions and improve them before launching to all customers

    Does this sound like you?

    • Experience in developing and launching customer products & services
    • Experience working in East Africa, preferably experience working in different countries, translating needs and demands into concrete communications and services. Global experience is a plus.
    • Proven project management experience; driven to achieve goals with ability to set and meet targets with a structured approach.
    • Sense of creativity and brand awareness.
    • Experience working on marketing production and digital skills in excel, google drive, apps and adobe creative suite is a plus.
