    Human Resource Officer

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Interpreting Human Resource Management policies and standards governing terms and conditions of service
    • Providing policy guidance and development of Human Resource plans, succession planning for optimal utilization of Human Resource
    • Human Resource Information System administration and Updating
    • Administering and reviewing the Schemes of Service, reward Management, and labour laws
    • Training and development of staff
    • Welfare management of staff
    • Maintaining personnel records
    • Recruitment and selection of staff
    • Provision of general administrative duties in organization
    • Ensuring proper maintenance of institutional premises

    Minimum Qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management/Public/Business Administration or its recognized equivalent from a recognized university.
    • KNEC Diploma in Human Resource Management.
    • Have served as a human resource or administrative officer for at least three (3) years in a busy organization
    • Computer literate in relevant Human Resource/Management Systems or other applicable programmes.
    • Possess good analytical skills and communication skills (speaking & writing)
    • Have knowledge of national labour laws
    • Demonstrate good managerial and interpersonal skills
