Supply Chain Assistant at National Drought Management Authority

Job Grade NDMA 6

Job Responsibilities

Officers at this level will work under supervision of a senior officer.

• Preparing estimates of expenditure on supplies and services;
• Procurement planning, inventory control and provisioning for the Authority;
• Collecting, collating and analyzing data from the Authority and make appropriate recommendations thereof;
• Analyzing the provision of goods and services emanating from the Authority and initiate appropriate action;
• Monitoring of the implementation of existing Supply Chain Management policies, guidelines and procedures;
• Disposal of unserviceable stores; and
• Coordinating the activities of the Authority’s Board of Survey on disposing of items.

Requirements

This will be the direct entry for degree holders.

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce, Business Administration, (Supplies Management Option) or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
• Computer Literacy;
