    Financial and Administrative Manager

    Main financial and administrative responsibilities at Egis Kenya :

    • Implement and apply the Group Management Core Model: procedures and general management instructions
      Approve the quarterly and annual accounts of the company and for the sub-region (East Africa)
    • Ensure the reliability of the company's accounts and the preparation of financial and accounting documents in accordance with legislation
    • Supervise the consolidation of financial data and enforce the application of OHADA and IFRS accounting standards
    • Prepare company forecasts (budget, first and second forecasts, medium-term plan, etc.) in accordance with strategic choices of the General Management
    • Ensure the necessary work for consolidation in actual and forecast phases
    • Analyse the company's performance
    • Set up the necessary management procedures and indicators for monitoring activities and reporting to the CEO
    • Supervise management control (invoices, payments, allocations,...) and the preparation of the company's results
    • Monitor the cash flow situation, analyse gaps from forecasts
    • Manage a financial staff (financial controller and accountant) for Egis Kenya as well as for Permanent establishment of egis International and Egis Eau (other Group company working in Kenya )
    • Organize boards of directors and general meetings in compliance with legal obligations
    • Ensure the relationship with the internal audit and external audit teams
    • Ensure asset management (depreciation, transfer, , , etc.) and supervise inventory operations
    • Prepare and pay monthly taxes, duties and contributions
    • Work in collaboration with tax inspectors during tax audits
    • Ensure compliance with the Group's financial rules
    • Ensure compliance with management procedures and instructions at all levels of the company
    • Ensure the proper functioning and effectiveness of internal control
    • Organize and participate in quarterly projects reviews with project managers
    • Control the contracting and subcontracting of services both internally and externally
    • Check customer and supplier accounts and propose corrective actions if necessary
    • Assist operational and functional departments in financial- related issues
    • Ensure the availability of general resources (vehicles, premises, supplies, equipment, furniture, etc.) and information systems within the company

    Main financial responsibilities in the sub-region (East Africa):

    • Monitor, analyse and manage the sub-region's projects that are led by the French subsidiary
    • Manage Permanent establishments (mainly in Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda) of the sub-region : relationship with local accounting firm, ensure the reliability of the account in all ours Permanent establishments
    • Ensure the interface with the financial controller of the Region in Headquarter in France

    Main HR responsibilities :

    • Supervise the local HR Deputy Manager in order to ensure the implementation of the local HR policies and procedures related to recruitment, payroll, training & development, performance appraisal, remuneration, sourcing and staff mobilization in accordance with Group guidelines and requirements
    • Ensure the compliance of HR practices with the local labor law and with the Group Ethical and Integrity codes

    Requirements :

    • At least 5 years ofprofessional experience in similar financial positions, - background in both accounting and financial controlling would be a plus
    • Ability to manage, guide and lead a team
    • Capacity to work in a multicultural environment
    • Good analytical and synthesis skills
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Proficiency in Business English
