Business Development Intern at Lipa Later

Lipa Later Limited is a financial service provider based in Kenya and Rwanda that offers payment plans for consumers and businesses looking to buy and sell products and services in monthly instalments.

About the Role:

The holder of this role will report directly to the head of business development and will support the acquisition of new partners for the organization. If you’re ambitious, a self-starter, team oriented, an entrepreneurial spirit with a positive attitude then this position is calling for you!

The role will include the following responsibilities: 

• Support and shadow day-to-day Business Development operations;
• Work within our proprietary systems to assist with data uploading and cleanliness;
• Provide guidance on suitable investment targets;
• Support current team members in various responsibilities, as assigned.

 Experience, Skills and Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business and/or related fields.
• 1 to 3 years’ relevant working experience.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
