    POS Technical Lead

    In line with enhancing career progression of staff and to support the business growth, we seek to recruit a senior well-qualified, experienced, self-driven, highly motivated and passionate candidate to fill the following position within the IT Department.

    The ideal candidate will be required to design and support payment solutions on Digital distribution Channels to support the strategic initiatives of the Bank by working with stakeholders e.g. Business, Payments service providers, Aggregators, Payment schemes etc. as and when required and ensure compliance with payment association standards (VISA/MasterCard/UnionPay International, JCB etc.)

    • Evaluation and assessment of technical requirements for systems implementation or requiring enhancements.
    • Performing systems upgrades, updates when they are due and collaboration of vendors
    • Management of system resources, application tuning/optimization and performance monitoring
    • Supporting and Developing Retail Banking Channels Products with Customer focused Service
    • Payments Card Systems (PCI) acquiring management, project management and user support on Terminal (POS) & business applications.
    • Knowledge of Operational risk management i.e. AML and KYC principles.
    • Agency Banking systems support
    • Vendor negotiation and contract management
    • Project management
    • Adherence to Change management and governance frameworks
    • Provide second level support for issues raised by system users
    • Ensure compliance with Payment Association Standards and provision of reports to end users
    • Support improvement and delivery of new products/services
    • Integration of E-commerce solutions/platforms
    • Development & Installation of POS software and terminals to merchant outlets
    • Customer support and evaluation of Bank channels for possible improvements
    • Maintenance of records, documentation and inventory of terminals, and supported solutions provided to merchants
    • Maintaining the required system configuration and parameterization by ensuring that change control procedures adherence.
    • Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures
    • Support of the merchant acquiring infrastructure
     Job Requirement
    • Bachelor’s Degree IT/Computer Science/Business Information Technology
    • Professional Certificate in related field e.g. ITIL/Oracle/Linux/EMV/SIX SIGMA etc.
    • Digital channels support (ATM/POS/Mobile/E-Banking/e-commerce) with at least 5 years’ experience in a Busy IT environment, Experience with Payment schemes (VISA/MC/UPI/JCB etc.)
    • Problem-solving, Attention to detail, Communication skills, Organization, Programming, IT Security and Banking    .
