Advocacy & Communications Internship at Pawa IT Solutions

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of advocacy and communication materials, including multi-media packages, toolkits and social media content.
• Support the advocacy department in the production and finalisation of communications products.
• Support the planning and implementation of advocacy campaigns and events.
• Monitoring media coverage relevant to PAWA254’s strategic priority areas.
• Assist in managing PAWA254’s external communications, including website and social media platforms and monthly newsletters.
• Other duties as assigned by the Advocacy & Communications Manager.

Skills & Requirements

• Recent graduate or currently enrolled.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Applications.
• Experience in social media management.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills, English and Kiswahili.
• Demonstrated interest in human rights, arts, and youth empowerment.
• Undestanding of production, graphic design, multimedia, and photography standards.
• Excellent time management, multi-tasking and organisational skills.
• Digital storytelling knowledge and content creation skills.
• Creative problem solving and inclusive collaboration.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
