    Technical Sales Engineer -Safety and Identification Solutions

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies
    • Offer Technical support for all products under Brady and Industrial Scientific
    • Building business relationships with current and potential clients
    • Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requests for proposals.
    • Collaborating with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts.
    • Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences
    • Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients; maintaining database of prospective client information Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients; closing sales and working with client through closing process.
    • Meeting all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews; meeting or exceeding annual sales goals.
    • Maintaining a pipeline of all sales administration using CRM software
    • Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining shortand long-term business development plans

    Competencies and Qualifications:

    • BSc degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. NEBOSH Qualifications will be an added benefit.
    • Sales management experience in the safety and industrial channel.
    • Extensive experience in safety supply or similar business to business industry.
    • Value selling skills, understanding customer financial calculations and project justifications.
    • Strong social skills and enjoying selling and networking.
    • Good Communication and active listening skill with the ability to communicate at all levels within an organization and across cultures.
    • Good presentation and language skills (French, English, other languages of advantage)
    • Team player with an openness to feedback and a desire to grow.
    • Self-starter with an ability to multitask and make decisions.
    • Strategic Thinker, and able to apply your skills to meet goals.
