Assistant Agricultural Officer at County Government of Elgeyo Marakwet

Duties and Responsibilities: -

• Implementing Crop Production, Land Development or Project Management within a sub- county; Preparation and implementation of farm business plans through analysis of various enterprises; Monitor and advise on adoption of agricultural technologies.

Specify Job Qualification below:  

 For appointment to this grade an officer MUST have:

• Served in the grade of Assistant Agricultural Officer II, or in a comparable and relevant position in the County Public Service for at least three (3) years; ii. Diploma in any of the following fields: Agriculture, food Technology, Agriculture and home Economics, Agricultural Education, Horticulture or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized qualification. iii. Attended a departmental training course in Participatory approaches or supervision; iv. Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
